  • Parents reported that it helped with the itch.

Burdens

  • Need to surgically place a catheter.
  • Need to surgically remove the catheter when treatment complete.
  • Infection risk while catheter in place.
  • Limit to what you can do while catheter in place (certain restrictions from having a central line at home, i.e. no swimming).
