About this Treatment
  • Blocks opiate (pain-relieving) receptors in the nervous system. Stimulation of opiate receptors is believed to play a role in the sensation of itch in PFIC patients.

  • To decrease pruritis/itch. Limited reports on possible efficacy in PFIC.
